Media Ministry: Your Flock Is Waiting To Hear From You
When it comes to media ministry online and finding ways to spread your message to the nations, I am always praying for the right tools.

How many people today are blind, lame, or paralyzed waiting for someone to lead,help them get to THE source of living waters that can heal, save and deliver!
Who do you know who needs to be lifted up and put into the pool of the Holy Spirit for cleansing, refreshing, and yes healing?

Lame…crippled physically, emotionally, and spiritual from soul wounds…

Six Keys To Remove The Mountain To Flow In Holy Spirit

At the end of last year the Lord whispered to my heart that 2012 was going to be known as "The Year That The Glory Fell!"
I believe you are part of that glory going forth into the world!
And I know facing the beginning of a New Year you may have questions and struggles with trying to put the pieces together.
I tweeted this the other day as I prayed for you:
"The message of your mission must not get lost amidst the pressure of the present."
What pressure is holding you down? You can always find reasons why you can't fulfill this call to spread your message....
"I don't have time. I don't have the money."
"I don't have the skill or knowledge."
"I'm afraid to start and fail...again...I'm afraid of those who say it can't be done..."
How badly do you want to manifest this God given destiny to advance the Kingdom of God through your ministry, gift, book, preaching.... the anointing God has given you?
It it takes years, would it be worth it?
So, how do you FLOW toward your goal amidst the mountain of...lack, amidst the negative 'wing clippers' around you who say it can't be done now
with "such a bad economy'?
God gave me a great answer I'd love to share with you.
It's a simple acronym to F-L-O-W:
Faith that
Loves God and
Obeys His
Word.
Then in Mark 11:20-26 God downloaded in my heart:
Six Keys To Remove The Mountain To Flow In His Supernatural Anointing!
Read these verses when you can! Here are the six keys:
1) Have faith in God. (Faith comes by hearing the Word of God).
2) Speak faith. (Faith that speaks must first be faith that seeks...God)
3) Believe God and not your doubt (fears)
4) Renew your heart (mind) daily in His Word
5) Pray
6) Forgive...no holding offenses.
So the fuel to FLOW in your mission to spread your message lies in your faith that speaks and believes God as you renew your heart in the word, praying and walking in forgiveness.
Praise God. That makes me want to run around my house!

How about this verse:
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time,
but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though
it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” (Habakkuk 2:3)
I want to express to you that God is always on time. He
knows your vision and your plans. His time table is perfect.

I love what Charles Spurgeon says. This hit me in a great way:
“The Lord in unfailing wisdom has appointed a time for the outgoings of His gracious power, and God’s time is the best time. We are in a hurry; the vision of the blessings excites our desire and hastens our longings; but the Lord will keep His appointments. He never is before His time; He never is behind.
God’s word is here spoken of as a living thing which will speak and will come. It is never a dead letter, as we are tempted to fear when we have long watched for its fulfillment. The living word is on the way from the living God, and though it may seem to linger, it is not in reality doing so. God’s train is not behind time.”
My friend and Kingdom Trainer, Ericka D. Jackson, said it this way:
“I wanted to tell you that all of your holding on is about to pay off in a big way. All the days of the Lord breaking you, emptying you out and then stripping you are so worth it….
“No matter what things are looking like around you, stay focused on building His Kingdom and completing the assignment He has given you. Do it with ALL of your power, passion and capacity and He will greatly reward you.”
One more final note. I heard a well known and respected
prophet saying that anointed people like you, ministers who have
the dreams and the visions and calling on them in a strong way,
are going to go through a real test. God is preparing you NOW
for that test. NO, it’s not a test about lack but about abundance.
Can God entrust to you with the overflowing of His wealth for you
to be about the Kingdom of God? Forget the world’s economy.
We are talking about God’s economy for God’s time…the end times.
Yep, you are right where HE wants you…and I think I see Gold..
in you!

I first totally understood the power of this a year ago. I had been involved in ministry marketing for around 5 years and understood it was a force to be contend with, so I began producing my husband's digital online ministry.
FirebrandMinistry.com was a blog where I featured my husband, Pastor Dave's, ministry of preaching and teaching the Word of God.
Before long I began noticing in the back office of our blog, views of this video ministry from all over the world! My husband began actively using his social media sites to continue to encourage and pray for people.
It was fun shouting out to Dave the countries where people were watching the videos: Pakistan, India, South Africa, England, Germany, Ireland.......
Then I was watching God.TV and saw the Word Explosion where Steve Hill was preaching and sharing about how many text message were going out a day, and how big social sites were.....
Steve said..."Who knows...some little kid in some far away country may drive his bicycle into a internet cafe' and start to search and find God....and get saved!"
I was captivated and knew my calling all the more clearly with my passion to use and teach video, ministry marketing, and social media.
The effect on our online digital ministry was amazing. Soon people from all over the world were asking Dave to come to preach, to share more on his Facebook site, and to minister one on one. They were asking him to counsel them on Skype (and later great meetings on "oovoo"..the site I use with the interview above...)

How Do You Promote The Message?
How do you promote the message the Lord has placed within you in a way that people see Jesus and not you?
This can be a challenge because in order to share the work of the Lord, you lend your name and face to Him as His Body.
The key to how you promote the message without drawing more attention to yourself than you do Jesus, is to be fully led and guided by Him.
He will tell you with whom to share the message He has placed within you, He will guide you to the training you need and He will provide the revelation He is instructing you to share.

Promote The Message To Proclaim Gospel
Before I put a single word in social networking, an ezine, book or a video, I ask the Lord, “Lord, what would you like to say through me?” It is only when I move out of the way that the Lord can pour His message through me.
Did you know that Christianity is the slowest growing religion on the earth right now? It is critical to release the teachings of the Lord for such a time as this.
The more you lift up the name of Jesus with your specific message, the more He will draw men unto you. And the more you must be emptied out and fully realize that it is not at all about you, it is all about Him.

Receive ALL of your instruction directly from the Lord. This includes what He desires you to teach and the gifts with which He has preordained you to use.
Your face and name should only be the initial draw as you promote the message. Then people should be able to clearly see Jesus in all you do. Make sure you use a professional picture that shows the love and joy of the Lord through the image so people see His light and love through you.
Increase the time you are spending first thing everyday in His presence. Ask Him what He would have you share with His people today. Release only what He has authorized and instructed you to share that day.

It is not enough to be a great teacher or preacher of the Word. You are also responsible for getting that message into the hands of the people God has set aside for you to reach.
In other words, every ministry has to understand that they have a message to get into the marketplace and the best way to do this. And it has to be effective so you can get back to the core functions of working with the people of God and bringing salvation to the unsaved.
But, most ministers are not wired for business. This lack of business wiring is so prevalent in the ministry community that most ministers are not even comfortable working their ministry as their livelihood and just passing along your gifting for free.

But, Jesus needs you to complete the works that He began upon the earth. He needs you to plant His Kingdom.
How can you do this if no one knows the message He has given you to carry to His people?
This means that as ministers we have to also become masters at connecting or what the world calls marketing.
This is a serious challenge for most ministers because we are heart people. Ministry and marketing are not in the same sentence for most ministers.
I have taken the head-ache, frustration and overwhelm out of the process of you finding and connecting with your flock. With this proven system, you will easily be able to locate your flock and communicate with them both online and offline powerfully and often.
I have perfected this marketing system over the last ten years. When I began my ministry, I could not find ANYTHING that spoke to the unique needs of a ministry in sharing your information with others. It wasn't as easy as plugging in my information into secular marketing systems, programs and teaching.
I had to figure out how to do this on my own with absolutely NO model for those called to build and grow a ministry outside of the local church structure.
I perfected this system as I had to rebuild my ministry from scratch three different times. The first time was when I made a decision to move into full obedience and leave corporate training to teach "spiritual" principles. But, Jesus did not let me get away with this for long.
As I was filming a TV show back in Seattle, right in the middle of the walk-through He asked me, "Why do you keep hiding me?" That day I had to hit the "restart" button and shift my work to the Christians to which I was called.
I had to start over. Almost NONE of my professional contacts were in the Christian community. I had to learn very quickly how to redefine my target market to taking responsibility for having a portion of the Lord's flock to teach and equip.
As soon as I was plugging along and had built my e-list to thousands, the Lord called me to move my ministry from Seattle, WA to Raleigh, NC. Not only did I have to start over in a new location where NOBODY knew my name or my work, the Lord told me that I had to terminate the two training contracts I had with other companies in order to release all He has placed within me.
I had to dust off the marketing principles I had learned the first and second time around and move them into high-gear because I had only weeks to produce the income that was needed to sustain both the ministry and my daughter...as a single mother.
I had to get real good really fast.
And About that Money Thing
It is time to activate your divine scriptural right to make a living through your ministry (see 1 Corinthians 9: 14). God has given you gifts so you can apply those gifts to building His Kingdom on a full-time basis. Face it, your vision needs ALL of you.

Kingdom Training To Be In God's Media Army
Why kingdom training?
In my pursuit of providing content for you to learn basic ministry marketing strategies, I realized we have to be whole, healed, and clean vessels of honor to minister. My heart is to train Christians for God's media army to make an impact on the world for Jesus Christ.
I said it before, and I'll say it again: If the Jihad can use the internet to train up their terrorist groups, Christians need to be just as diligent to use the same tool to train and activate Christians to bring the Kingdom of God to their corner of the world.
Kingdom training deals with a spirit of excellence that reveals God's character.
I wanted to know even more about the Kingdom of God, and how I could relate it to you as you go forward with your ministry.
So I went to the word and began to study what truly is the Kingdom. I was also blessed to read material from some great Kingdom Trainers and godly teachers who only inspired me all the more to desire to include this in my family, my life, in my coaching and in my ministry marketing.
Kingdom Training Revealed
I started out considering kingdom training by realizing I had to excel in all things. One morning in my time with the Lord, I read Proverbs 22 verse 29:
"Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before Kings; he will not stand before unknown men.”
I've read this verse many times, but this time God gently spoke to my heart.
He said, "I see your heart, Theresa, and wanting to excel as a minister, as a consultant, as a marketplace woman. But do you really want to excel in My Kingdom?"
"Yes, Lord!", I responded back. "I want to excel with the spirit of excellence in all I do giving you the glory!"
The Lord then very matter-of-fact spoke to my heart:
"Excel first as a wife! Be that Proverbs 31: 25 and 26 woman: 'Strength and honor are her clothing; she shall rejoice in time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness.'"
Then the Lord said, "Excel as a mother. Be that Proverbs 31:27 woman who,'watches over the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also and he praises her: 'Many daughters have done well, But you excel them all.'"
Gulp. "I hear you Lord!"
So I understand the order in this kind of Kingdom training. It's simply this: Business principles are great, but God's Kingdom principles must come first.
We ministers sometime gets so busy tending to other people's needs and demands, that we forget we need to stay connected to the vine, to be clean, to be whole, healthy vessels.
We must deal with those closest to us and those relationships around us now and from the past.
We must tend to the relationships that wounded us in the past, those hurts that have left us carrying baggage of wounds and extreme emotional scars.
This means to walk in forgiveness, to not be so quick to be offended, and to continually walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.
As author and Kingdom Trainer, Ericka D. Jackson states in her latest book, "Your Heart is the Key: Clearing Emotional Baggage From Your Life"
"One of the most damaging things on the planet is an insecure and unhealed minister. It is the unhealed ministers that walk, and insecurity that leads to wounding their flock, holding back the gifts of those in their congregation, sitting people down instead of equipping them for the works of the ministry, and attempting to get people to honor them instead of the instruction of Jesus through the Holy Spirit."
She goes on to say, "This is so dangerous because an insecure minister will often pose the option of following traditions of man and rudiments of the world which are not of Christ versus righteousness which is the order of Jesus that is led by the Holy Spirit.”
Basic Keys To Kingdom Training
I believe there are basic keys to the kingdom training:
They have to do with following the Word of God, being a humble servant, and walking in continual obedience.
Attributes of Kingdom people can be found in Matthew chapter 5 verse one through Matthew chapter 7 verse 27.
In the sermon on the Mount, Jesus outlines the primary attributes of people who are walking out the fruit of Kingdom training.
These attributes include:
Humility
Willingness to suffer persecution
A strong commitment to God's commandments
Refusal to substitute false piety for genuinely right behavior
A life of prayer
Seeking first the Kingdom over material things
And above all, acknowledging the Lordship of Jesus Christ by obeying the revealed Will of God.
In addition, the call to Kingdom living and ministry includes the expectation that the Holy Spirit will empower the minister to walk in such a way that the fruits of the spirit will clearly be seen, such as righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Let us endeavor to be just as committed in our Kingdom training as well as in our ministry pursuits, so as to have an impact on this world for Christ.
I believe God is raising up people like you, people who have a powerful anointing, who write powerful books, sing heart moving songs, make inspiring movies….People like you who are being raised up to be a part of God's Media Army….
"You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden…" Matt5:14
As the days get darker, the light will shine more brightly. May all you do be a true reflection of the Kingdom of God!
